While surfing the net, I came across the new Image Tank G2. (see: http://www.grand-level.com.tw/g2.html)

It looks like an improved version of Xdrive (at least on the website)... Anyone knows where to get this or have seen it sold in Singapore? In SLS?

Also, if you have, what's the price?

Thanks in advance.

Does this have CRC checking/verification? (Like Nixvue?)

again does this one has any problem with RiData?

cheers,

Steves-Digicams quote the package (with 20GB harddisk) as US$349.95 (works out to be around S$600 based on current Forex)

See:
http://www.steves-digicams.com/2003_reviews/imagetank_g2.html

All the accessories mentioned in Steves-Digicams are included but harddisk size is variable, since different customers have different capacity needs.

Here's our competitive pricing:
Image Tank G2 (w/o) harddisk - S$299
with 20GB - S$449
with 30GB - S$479
with 40GB - S$509
with 60GB - S$679

hi east gear, in your opinion which is a better buy? the nixvue da lite or the imagetank. performance wise? any way for it to support firewire? reason i'm asking is because i'm using a mac ibook and i dun have usb 2. do you have any firwire solutions?

Will come up with a comparison chart soon, but meanwhile DA Lite is better on features (able to see folder & file listing) but Image Tank G2 CF-to-harddisk transfer rate is very fast.

It should come in by end of this week, hopefully by wednesday.

I would to hear from u to test it with RiData. And also like know what cards which are not compatible.

I'm interested to buy it

Cheers,

Hi EastGear,

Are you also selling the DA Lite? If yes, whats the pricing and availability.

Thanks.

I currently do not have any RiData cards and apparently the newer batch of RiData cards do not have any compatibility issues. If you want, you can test the G2 with your RiData card before you buy.

eastgear, will you bring in the accessories too? what are the prices?

e.g. the 4-in-1 charger, powerbank?

Hi EastGear,

Could you update on the image Tank G2? Is the stock in? I'm interested in getting one.
