HELPLINE ? i m not too sure about this. If he has no internet access and cant drop me an email, try calling SANYO directly then...I dun think there is a dedicated hotline as this discharge problem happens only to selected batteries/ batches ..... some of our CSers claim that theirs are working fine

That's y I have stressed that if it is not 'faulty', dun replace them as we are not sure if the replacements are better. So far, so good.... the guys here are happy using the new ones ??? Anyway, the problem may only kick in after 2 to 3 months of usage :sweat:

FYI, I am also helping Kho King of Malaysia in collating his list of members. I am sure all of us can do better. SANYO has already committed to replacing your bad batts. Based on the feedback, the new replacements sounded fine. Of cos, we will soon know how 'fine' after the coming events..e.g. SEXPO, SITEX, BIG BOYS .... etc.

Greetings AhV, im a user of Sanyo 2500Mah AA battery in which also facing the same problem of self discharge.

I have 4 peices under 04-11 OA Sanyo 2500mah AA and 2 pieces of Sanyo 2500Mah barring 05-03 A1. all of this 6 pieces faces the same problem that other user complain about it. I tested the battery level using my Sony hi-MD.

Can you provide some clarification of procedure how to replace this defect batterys from Sanyo.

Wonder will you be arranging for another round of battery replacement for those who have missed the previous arrangement ?

I am having the following batteries

04-10 HE - 2 pieces
04-10 SI - 2 pieces
04-11 OA - 6 pieces
05-03 AC - 4 pieces

After notice the 2500 problem I am surviving on my 8 pieces of 2300.

Please advise .

How long did you have to wait before they call you to collect the replacement batts?
I had sent mine in for 1 wk already. Still no news from sanyo. :think:

I had email them few days ago about my 2500 batteries. Their reply was that if I could go down to let them do a test. I will get replacement if the test result does not fall within the accepted expectation.

No matter what is the outcome, I am impress at the way they communicate with customer's email. Fast and polite :thumbsup:

I am meeting 2 more CSer tmr....I have not much batteries left to distribute..effectively, you have 2 options .....(1) visit SANYO during office hours (MON-FRI) and get your replacement from them or (2) get them from me ..... but i will need to complete a short waiting list for collection of additional batts b4 distributing to you all. Some of you explained that it's not convenient for you to visit SANYO and would rather exchange with me. Since I need to visit SANYO again, I will complete my final duty by collecting more batts for the waitiing list. Please bear in mind that my duty should end soon. Ah V can only do so much ..... I hope I have managed to help most of you in one way or another.
