since the meeting place are at two mrt stns, it is practical if exchangers do not need to exit from the stn i.e. stay inside the turnstiles and conduct exchange over the gates i.e. away from the turnstiles.

Its no practical...

Firstly, there's only a 15 to 30 mins grace period of transfer time between stations. I am sure there are bound to be some whom will be late.

Secondly, there are people whom would walk, ride or drive to the station.

I still think it would be better to wait outside somewhere where collection will be easier to facilitate.

Paiseh hor, I don't mean to be troublesome, but would it be a good idea if the collection/replacement point be somewhere central, like Peninsula or something? I think alot of us can just go there after work to drop them off rather than have to travel far east or north.

Just a suggestion, see if its doable.

i would agree too.. somewhere centralised would be more convenient..

Ai yo ... I mean the whole replacement exercise must end by November la. I also dun want to hold the batts with me as SANYO wants you all to 'abuse' it as a photographer and feedback to me if they discharge abnormally again :sweat: These batts should be good lo while investigations continue.

This is the plan :

Coming Mon (31 OCT), Wed (2 NOV) & Fri (4 NOV) are working days :

1. Collection Point : TAMPINES MRT after 7 p.m. -- Drop me an email to indicate your attendance on the day preferred and I will bring the batteries to office.

2. Collection Point Public Holiday : Tues (1 NOV) only

10 a.m. to 10: 30 a.m ---> Yio Chu Kang MRT ... try to come at 10 a.m. so that we can finish early ...drop me an email to confirm attendance

3. Those who are travelling or away....you have to get in touch with me when you are back lo.... Replacement exercise should end by November...thank you for your co-operation.


Cheers dudes .... I REITERATE AGAIN ... this replacement only applies to those on the list and for 2500s only ..EVERYONE MUST BRING THEIR 'BAD' BATTERIES FOR ONE-TO-ONE EXCHANGE. NO COMPROMISE as I need to account for all replacement batts. I hope u all understand my situation...

Dear ALL on the list.....Thank you for your emails but PLEASE NOTE THAT I WILL ACCESS MY MAIL BY 12 MIDNIGHT EACH DAY. SO, IF YOU EMAIL ME THAT SAME MORNING, I PROBABLY DUN VE THE REPLACEMENTS WITH ME. If I have received your email, I will give you a sms confirmation. I am using email as some of you still refuse to give me a contact number for whatever reasons. So, dun 'takan' me as I dun ve access to my walla mails all the time. Basically, if u receive a sms, your collection is confirmed unless your mode is email...take it as ok.

I am not surprised but I am still receiving new emails. In order not to confuse matters, we will settle this exchange first and I will feedback back to SANYO. They will probably take it up directly.

I will wait from 700p.m. to 730 p.m. for M, W & F as I still need to return to work. If you have special request and time permits,I will try to accomodate.

I think people like AhV very rare. Out of his own initiative he's providing a service for all of us FOC. He could've very well done things only for himself, but he did not. He's already providing four different days and two locations for collection, + making special allowances for some people who really can't make it. So I think he's fully entitled to decide where he wants to meet as HIS own convenience.

I think this man deserves at least a cup of kopi. How about we start a mass-order for kopi-hoon for AhV?

just returned to the office after a second trip to the MRT station. Anyway, the expected happened ...those who had only given their email were not found or they could not find me while the exchange was going on.

As for those who have received their replacements, PLEASE DONT BE TOO KIND TO YOUR BATTERIES..SANYO HAS GIVEN SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS THAT ALL OF YOU SHOULD 'ABUSE' THEM THE WAY YOU WOULD HAVE USED THEM :bsmilie: Feedback to me again if they 'lao sai' again :sweat: Charge thoroughly, use and monitor their performance. We hope they will serve you well. Oh..... Thank You for returning the BAD samples ..so that I can account for the quantity I had drawn out.

I will update the list in the night.
