35mm on my 5d...

I would bring 50mm f/1.8

at least if it breaks, not so heart pain but depends on shooting what and if the reward is worth the risk.

You use this lens to photograph the dead? Just kidding dude.;p

Too bad they couldn't see your work too.:what:

why nobody consider a 45 or 47 mm real standard lens?

it is the best if there is only one choice

Definately a 35mm lens:) maybe 35L or nikon 35 1.4 ais with nikon to canon adapter

Hi all, new here.

Anyway, kinda interesting to see this thread.
Guess my part will be very much depend on which body one is using.
So i guess i would just say, 50mm equivalent.
:)

50mm f1.8 on my 450d.

because its my only prime :(

wah old skool thread again ahah.

50 f/1.0? goodness monster..

Nikkor 28mm f2.8 AIS but not the AFD on a FX format.

Plus the 105mm f2.5 AIS if I can have two lenses.

I won't think twice in bringing my 20mm f2.8 on DX body :)

50mm f/1.8 for me too..

Currently my AFD 20mm f/2.8.

Extremely sharp on my D700, makes my setup as light as a feather, reminds me of my enjoyable point and shoot days but with the quality of a pro DSLR.

I can even shoot with only my right hand....:)

Truly a match made in heaven!

Here's a writeup and some samples of my D700 and Nikkor 20mm AF-D f/2.8 combination:-
