I probably go with EP-3 since I'm EPL-1 user....but just got side table offer from someone inside Pany old stock of GF-1 silver body only....very cheap ....now my lumix 20 got it's mate.... Let's see how long this one going to stay in my hand....

I like the size and form factor of epl3. Altho ep3 is more capable, i feel its still a little clunky. The epl3 form factor hits the sweet spot for me. Some pple may not like the lower res screen on the epl3 and the way images are not fully displayed on the lcd bec of the lcd config. It does not bother me be i only use the lcd screen for checking images, not for viewing. The epm1 has too few buttons so manual control is a bit harder to access. No regrets choosing epl3 over epm1 for me.

You are welcome. I would tell you buy whatever you would like or love to use. Or get whichever appeals to you. I think both cams are equally good. Personally, although feature wise I like the ep3 touch screen, but I think I prefer the size and look of the gx1. This is obviously personal, but I the I wld get the gx1 although it does not have IBIS.

It's true that oly jpegs are "punchier" OOC. But with the latest 3gen cams from panny, g3/gf3/gx1, the jpegs are much closer. Also I set my gf3/gh2 on vivid mode to enhance the colours. So the jpeg engine may or may not be a deal breaker to you.

To me, if you shoot raw, this adv goes away. I'd rather go for the cam with better sensor and high iso. Which is gx1. IMHO of course. Ymmv.

Like I said, I own ep3 n epl3. I am not intending to buy, but if I were I would prob get gx1. My next target is fuji xpro1 actually or the rumoured OM-D. I the I hv enuff PENS.
