Food photography is the art of properly arranging food and lighting on a plate so as to make it appear very visually appealing to would be TV viewers and home cooks. A great food photographer may be able to make a mediocre casserole appear to be a well crafted dish straight out of a five star restaurant.

That's always a challenge.

Choo Choo Chicken at Bugis (Bali Lane)

Choo Choo Chicken at Bali Lane (just beside a famous cafe Stateland Cafe) is one restaurant selling Korean-style fried chicken. They offer mainly three style of fried chicken – Whole Chicken, Chicken Strips and Chicken Wings and they come in various authentically-Korean flavours like Soy, Spicy, Sweet, Crispy and Garlic. The seating capacity of Choo Choo Chicken is really small and can house up to only 26 diners.

I was invited to Alkaff Mansion for a media food tasting recently. I was already a fan of Alkaff Mansion before that. Beautiful place, peaceful ambiance and decent Italian food. Just slightly pricey.
