As above :D

one camera, one lens, one film (ok.. maybe a few types of film...) to roam the world with.
a camera system so light, you can carry it around wherever you go....

get a RF (whichever model doesn't matter), practice with one lens and go shoot the world! :)

Hey... I really love this series of photos.
The story of the owner and his RF. ;)
1 camera & 1 lens and just go out happily shooting things around.

Btw, I like the pic of the devotees praying in the church & the lady using
her laptop and the guy beside her just dozing off. :bsmilie:

Nice shots, RD. Long time no see.

Must dig out my Hexar AF and take some shots.

problems encountered with Mamiya 6 RF.
1) poor tele viewing
2) inaccurate metering if meter is not TTL
3) framing not WYSIWYG

not every1's cup of tea

Same here, even though mine is a bit quirky. The price you pay for venturing into RF land!

hmm.

the Leica M8 is RF. AND digital TOO !

hey yeah it's been a while! how have u been?
yes with such prolific street shooting skills as yours, don't let that hexar idle at home! :)

hi all, thanks for the kind words....

I saw this other poster in another forum doing a "i love my XXX-camera" type of post and I thought it would be a good idea here too.... shots are all with a 35mm lens. It's

All shots here with a single 35mm lens - it's a great all rounder! :)

a p/s is lighter. For your kind of shots above that is.

Love my RFs, too! I have several FSR cameras & find that my FED 3b with the 35mm Jupiter 12 is a great combination. It's quiet, especially since a CLA, great lens, and I think that people see a RF camera they think you are just taking "snapshots" and don't pay much attention to you. Plus, who takes FEDs seriously!

Nice series, films photos always look different...

Same you. Excellent! Keep shooting.:D

Nice series, especially with a narrative to string it all together. Looks like your 35 mm is quite versatile.

Cheers,

Love your series. I have to agree with you on the 35mm lens being one of the most versatile lenses around. On film, it's moderately wide, yet retains much of its subject isolation. Even on digital (1.3x, 1.5/1.6x crop), it feels like a normal lens; a next-to-perfect range, anywhere (medium/large format notwithstanding).
