Yup. It seem that the Christmas stocks most probably got all sold out... so it could be some more time before Amazon gets new stocks. I won't be surprised if both of us get our shipping notices at the same time. BTW, did you also order the dual kit with 55-300?

Hello. I so proud of my new toy today!

after reading so many positive reviews online. I decided to head down to SLR Revo today to buy my 1st dslr. All my friends objected against Pentax as they are canon/dslr users. Sh*t my friends! I wanna BE INTERESTING! :bsmilie:

Actually not lumping everything together... breakdown is below for your perusal:

Laptop costs less than 2K, so it is coming to Singapore on its own with 7% GST paid at customs.

The compact flashes, gorillapods and allied photo gear put together amount to less than $400, so all these are being lumped together to save on 7% GST.

The two K-x kits will be shipped separately too with 7% GST paid as they total less than 1.4K together.

Was thinking of buying a Pentax dedicated Metz 58-AF1 flash gun too... but that has been put on hold for now.

Any suggestions? Does this breakdown seem prudent to you?

Well you can hold on your purchase for the flash gun for now. I am thinking of getting a tripod and some other accessories as well. Maybe we can consolidate our order and ship it together for some cost savings :thumbsup:

hell yeah... it's overpriced indeed. otherwise you see 500 grams of 24k gold inside, i would be the first one to buy it.

try to check the posts here you should have an idea where to buy and how much...

yeah overpriced lowest price is 942 from slr revo

Even those shops charging by credit card they normally ask for 2-5% more.. 25% more is a bit.. too much.
