holysmokes - try cleaning your contacts,if it still fails,take it back to the shop to change if still within 7 days or bring down to OSC,kinda confusing, cause you said you turn back your focusing ring to the original position, there is like, no real focusing position,zooming there is a stored and open position,try read the manual first,it might help

Use tissue paper to cover the flash (I'm serious) or use tracing paper, google diffuse flash and there are answers there,probably can find a way to wrap something around it to diffuse

yeah FL-14 is known to have exposure issues on the E-P1. FL-20 is supposed to be better. also interested if the nissin di466 flash performs well using TTL.

I use my hammerhead flash for fun :bsmilie: but most of the time use FL-36R cause its lightest of my flashes

hmm...me too, curious to know if the nissin di466 flash performs well using TTL as mine was 'C'-mount...ooh I mean canon-hotshoe-Di466 where I used it to do wireless flash in conjunction with E-PL1's built-in flash to trigger FL36R as well as at the same time FL36R trigger Nissin Di466<=>Wireless-two-lights/flash-system:heart:

My wife just got herself the EP-1 twin lens kit yesterday.
Freebie are similar to the rest who bought at HN.
Please check your lens carefully.
The 17mm I got from the 1 set have 2 black spots which was inside the lens.
It does show up from f16 onwards. Lucky that I did a check and got it change.
