I can only bring one lens to Japan so which one?

This setup was only from Home > Changi Airport > Suvarnabhumi Airport > Don Mueang Airport > Thai Home. And it is already killing me!
I left my laptop in at home before I went around shooting!
Which is also why I won't bring my 70-200 f/2.8 IS when I travel. Most of the time, I don't use it at all. A f/4 IS would be more suitable.
Unless I'm travelling to watch a specific event like the Tour de France, which in this case, would have brought a 100-400mm instead. Or maybe some indoors sports competition (which a Tele-prime like the 135 f/2 would probably be better ?).
