all i can say is that I surprised that AP entertained the return... I'm wondering what they did with the G2 u returned, maybe (since its out of stock=high demand), they sold it the next day to someone else who didn't care about the scratch ;)

I suppose in a way it's good customer PR if AP accepts the camera back...

buy a new $4000 laptop, got scratches on the LCD.

never mind lar, sooner or later got scratches.

duh !!!

TsQ, if you feel better without scratches, then go and change lor. :)

oklarr.. listen to u seniors :)

Like I said, its a bloody scratch. Its not even a fault.
Hey Bud, I feel the same too! ;)

A scratch on a camera body is not like a scratch on the lens. It will not affect your photo quality at all. If it's a scratch on the lens, by all means go and change it.

In the very first place, and if one is so mindful of a scratch on the camera body, he should check the camera thoroughly when he buys it.

As the others have said, it's good enough that AP has indicated that they are willing to exchange 1 for 1. Should not doubt them.
