Im interested to see how 'Leica' works its magic into the phones or whether it really is just marketing speak.
 

Looking forward to see what this phone can do.. Especially pm the camera department =)

Me too! This is like the first time Leica with mobile phone. :thumbsup:
 

In the compact/P&S department, most if not all the time, Leica just means Panasonic :)
So don't get too excited about it.

It is marked "LEICA DC ELMARIT 1:2.8/10.2 ASPH" on the lens. If this lens were indeed produced by LEICA, it is probably going to cost more than 5X that of the phone.

Honestly I dont think there's anything to it la. I'm guess Leica's inputs most importantly is in the jpeg rendering engine. Thats all.
