Sorry I was confused between the domestic and international brand names.

BUT the bottomline is they're equivalent.

Yup. Kenko is for the Jap market and Hoya is for foreign market. Same stuff.

I use Kenko Pro 1 D (same as Hoya pro 1 D) protectors only. Most of my stuff I do using my Cokin P C-PL.

I also own a 52mm Tokina C-PL, and a 72mm B+W C-PL (ex!)

Like to find out from you guys what version is this HOYA Cir-Polarizing filter?

It has a "HOYA 67MM PL-CIR MADE IN JAPAN" on it's ring

This is just a 'standard' Hoya polarizer. Its circular polarizing abilities are not as effective as Kenko Pro1D or Hoya HD.

Hi ettk75, how much u bought the hd cpl?

I bought mine Audio House at Liang Court...surprisingly their filters are cheaper than those in Funan (not sure about Sim Lim)...depends on filter size you need....

Hi guys.. I just bought the same HOYA CPL 77mm last friday...

I'm just wonderin how easy or difficult is it to rotate???
It's because when I try to rotate it, I had to use 5 fingers (like opening the lid of a jar)...

Is it suppose to be that way? Or the one I got is abnormally tight???

Pls advise. Thanks..
