I think he's a fan of Leica and Canon.

Didn't understand a word what he said initially, did a search and found a translated video...

With his endorsement, it's no wonder leica has such huge backlog for M9 and huge demand for the Noct...

From wiki:
Medvedev is an avid amateur photographer. In January 2010, one of his photographs was sold at a charity auction for 51 million rubles (US$1,750,000), making it one of the most expensive ever sold.

It is a Leica Digilux 2, a non full frame digital camera with electronic viewfinder...:)

I like the digilux 2...

Leica & Panasonic were pretty much already onto it some 7 years ago what fuji x100 is going to be next, especially with the rf-ish evf, manual control, and to beat, a sexy vario-summicron f2.0-f2.4... of course we're not gonna even start comparing the performance of a 5mb sensor but anyway...

Digilux 2

.... and oh before i forget, there's a nice minty copy at TCW when i was there this afternoon! if you're even the slightest keen, just make sure the serial number > 2999xxxxx before you part with your moola! ;) and of course, you need to remember to remove the lens cap!
