How to take photos using handhelp to be used for stitching later

hi, if i use M setting, do i still need to do focus lock?

i can just turn the tripod head right?

wat focal length to u recommend? and does taking vertical shots help?

m setting locks the exposure (cos u have to set it urself), but focus lock is a diff button (for nikon it says AE/AF, dunno abt canon)

another method is using manual focus; when u turn the tripod make sure its only turning horizontally

any focal length will do, depending on how much u want to capture, ive got panos at 12mm and past 50mm too

vertical shots gets u larger image sizes, if u wan to print bigger of sth at better resolution
