How to setup i-cabi HD-20?

Recently got a cheap dry cabinet for my equipment but putting the settings at medium, the hygrometer doesn't seem to be moving (it's been 10 minutes since i plugged in) i'm still new to this, am i suppose to wait for a couple hours before the meter goes down or???

This is not a quick freezer, but a slow dehumidifier. Have patience. In the meantime you can read some of the other threads about dry cabinets and the underlying technology.

Like some of the seniors here have shared, it can take up to a full day to stabilise. Do start off by NOT setting it to the maximum mark too. 3/4 is fine. If worried , u can also purchase a hydrometer cheaply to test.
