of cos also have some effects thrown in lah. (i will assume, chroma-key, & dissolve at least).

Want to do it, just pay the company who did it for sentosa to do it. How you know the shots are real? These days the whole sequence can be rendered without even using a video camera to shoot.

IF you watch those behind the scenes imaging, like ad commercials, you can see the stunt man jump off the stairs a few hundred times.. google chase jarvis.
It's difficult to tell you over the forums, hence you'll feel the answers don't address your issues.
There's no trick to it. Just plenty of takes, maybe some chromo key and definitely plenty of ROTOSCOPING. Lost? just google for the terms and you'll understand.
