hello

does anyone know how the effects in this Sentosa commerical are made.

like the background blends into the next background and the subject juz falls into place in background?

lots of pre-planing (storyboard, lightings, camera angle, etC) plus lots of re-takes i guess. =)
of cos also have some effects thrown in lah. (i will assume, chroma-key, & dissolve at least).

I still cant figure how they manage to sync the lady's movement from hitting a vollyball to the spa's table. Even the hands and fingers are well transitioned.

That is why Sentosa pay them so much to do it!

Answer no match question leh.

Who knows or care how much Sentosa paid. Juz curious how they did it. Frame by Frame editing? Shoot the hand seperately then overlay?

Want to do it, just pay the company who did it for sentosa to do it. How you know the shots are real? These days the whole sequence can be rendered without even using a video camera to shoot.

Post here to learn mah, isn't everyone doing it?

Is rendering possible for such scenes?

Shoot on bluescreen then mask the jump cut with a morph transition to seamless match frame

IF you watch those behind the scenes imaging, like ad commercials, you can see the stunt man jump off the stairs a few hundred times.. google chase jarvis.

It's difficult to tell you over the forums, hence you'll feel the answers don't address your issues.

There's no trick to it. Just plenty of takes, maybe some chromo key and definitely plenty of ROTOSCOPING. Lost? just google for the terms and you'll understand.
