How to remove the date battery from 700si?

Hi,
My first post here, the CR2025 date battery on my 700si is dead, I need to replace it, but have no idea how to remove the cover, from googling I came across a pdf manual of the 800si, same date battery cover, but that manual said slide the cover in direction indicated - but no arrow to point the direction! I've tried sliding to left and right, cannot remove it... anybody with this model tried this before?

Facing the shutter when you have open the back cover, push towards the right and flip the transparent cover...if cannot...I'll see you on wednesday at seed...

No, push opposite direction to the hinge....towards the film pressure plate
