How to remove smoke

Newbie @ Firework phtography. Need helpful experienced Pros to teach how to remove smoke from photos using PS.

Any help appreciated. Please reply to forum.

run the auto-color function under CS. that works unless your smoke's too thick.

I used Levels ;p

I used levels too, it helps

yeah levels help, remember to select the areas to be affected cos u don't want your whole image to be darken.

I tried using Contrast and Brightness. It helps quite a bit except when the smoke was too thick.

curves help too, but i prefer levels.

if u shoot in raw add more shadow, if jpeg use curve and make an S curve.
