how to post an image ?

I would like to share pictures with this forum, however it says that I can't post any link, or to wait for 30 days. 30 days are long ... Is there another way to post pictures ?

just remember that there are several steps,

1 - you need your picture hosted somewhere, e.g. flickr.com
2 - you would need the address of the image e.g._http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2577/5722635948_b7e6ff945e.jpg

3 - BB code or no BB code

BB code: some sites provide you with BB codes for links [_ur_] amd images [_img_] ... minus the underscores. if so, copy and paste BB code in your reply.

no BB code: if you do not have BB code, simply click on the "image" icon located at the middle of the top menu bar of the text edit box and paste your image address in the pop-up text box. alternatively, flank your image address with [_img_] and [_/img_] (exclusing the underscores) directly into your reply text editor, e.g. [_img_]http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2577/5722635948_b7e6ff945e.jpg[_/img_]

step 4 would be linking your image with nested code... but that'd be a lesson for another day. e.g....

[_url=http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/threads/798012-RF-fast-75mm-lens-test_][_img_]http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2577/5722635948_b7e6ff945e.jpg[_/img_][_/url_]

I didn't know about Users Guide to Posting Images in ClubSNAP Forums , so I will check it up.

I know how to host an image and have a code, but the forum just doesn't allow me to put it on a topic .... ! Guess I will really have to wait for 30 days !!! Too bad ...

You can post an image using the [img][/img] tags. You just can't link a url within 30 days or with insufficient post counts.
