My guess is the owner was about to take the M9 upgrade option to M9P, hence the top and bottom cover would be changed anyway. So it did not matter that it would be mutilated and turned pink.

I'm not impressed DigitalRev needs to pull such a stunt to attract eyeballs. They should give Lok and Alamby more screentime instead.
