How to do double exposure?

Actually most manual SLRs should have this button which after pressed, allows you to **** the shutter without advancing the film. No need to rewind all the way to the start and start again...in fact, if you do that, chances are your frames will be off, unless you're so accurate.

Student was directing his answer to me, who started this thread almost a year ago, and I'm using a Toyo right now.
