how to counter the small grip of 550d?

i also recommend 60D

Get a XXD or XD series DSLR. Grip is impt. Pay more for a more comfy grip.

i am only a beginner le... the PP plan is far more attractive for my pocket

how much does the grip cost?

if 600d/550d with battery grip compare with 60d without battery grip, has the same grip i will get 550d/600d

or is there any model nikon has, that is ard xxxD range?

I have been using the antiquated small grip 450D since its inception 2008.

No complaints from me even though I also use the 60D and 7D (latter now sold).

in using camera, there is no beginner.

a battery grip for XXXD series should cost $100-2xx (low $200).

i already told u, XXXD series the camera body/grip is the same. what makes u think 600D will becomes bigger in size and grip when 450D-550D is ard the same/similar size? I can tell you straight now, u will go back to square one if u upgrade to 600D cos only the cam features will be enhanced, the body cam size will still be similar to your 550D (99% chance)

u can go rent a battery grip for your 550D to try it out.

yeah
i know the size for 550 n 600 is about the same, only mm diff

think i go to best n see they got the battery grip then test with it. :D

then from there i can decide to go where.

i wanted to get 60d, but there is no PP program...
:(

550 pp program vs 60 non pp program, the price is like 500 right? or even more

A 550D battery grip cost about $180 for original.

A 550D body only cost about $1050.

You can start to do your maths compare with other model.

I was a beginner too when I got my 50D. No offence to any XXXD owners, when I went to Canon @ Vivo to play with 500D, it felt toyish. Hence, I bought the 50D.

You can get the grip for less than $200 but you need to be very disciplined to attach it on your body everytime you go out to shoot.

my batt grip is like permanently stucked to my 7D. i seriously cant do without it, even when i go on holidays.

I cant. :(

Dunno abt bigger sized crop-frame or FF bodies.. But I loved the BG on Rebel series bodies.. Balance the weight well & makes protraits shots alot more comfy..

Compare 550d plus grip with 7d/50d

The grip feel better for the 7d/50d.

7D has the most comfortable grip of any camera I've ever used. It's almost Canon custom molded the grip to fit my hand perfectly.
