How to calibrate monitor with Adobe PS?

Just checking is anyone of you did calibrate your monitor with Adobe PS? Do you see any significant improvement over color management while post processing your digital photos?

If yes, care to teach me how to do the calibration?

Anyway, Here is my current setting:
Philips 107S monitor: 9500K color mode
Display color management: AdobeRGB 1998 default
PS CS RGB working profile: AdobeRGB 1998 default
Canon photo printer CP200: AdobeRGB 1998 default

Is my setting above correct?
Somehow I still facing problem with the printed photo not matching the color or what I see on my monitor... :cry:

Any idea how to improve it? :dunno:

The colours camera, monitor and printer do not match because they uses a different scheme of colour. Camera, monitor RGB and printers CMYK. That is why sometime when we print blue stuff, we see a redish shade.

I'm not very good at colour stuff (I colour blind). So I just correct my monitor to my print lab colour. Make sure what I see on monitor is as close as possible to my print.

But you need to make sure that the printer is calibrated to true color... If not, the photos you post here might ended up with diff colors in our monitor..
