One option you can consider is signing up for portrait photography classes, if you are interested in being behind the camera as well. See how the instructor poses the model(s).

@daredevil123: Do you remember what the title of the book is? I am taking photos too as hobby, though I have not photographed a lot of models, still learning. I think it is 1 of my wishlist, but before I can direct people, I have to be a good model too?

You only need to develop a good photographic eye,since you like art it should be easy.That should include knowing your equipment much like a painter.
Different models are unique and not perfect so need to know their strength and weakness,ie. they look good at certain angles with respect to the shape of facial
features,hair style,body type (fat,thin or full) and personality.
XMM is acronym for xiao mei mei or little sister.

Anyway, seriously, youtube is your best friend. Do a search on youtube and you can watch many videos teaching you how to pose.

but one point to take note. local XMMs...most of them can't pose to save their lives.
