To be able to idle away the hours discussing this on a computer over the internet can only mean you are not concerned about finding food, warmth and a roof over your head.

Want wife to tie u down when u got another 'wife'? Real wife might not faithful as previous generation due to surrounding. Plus u need to give her $ even you 2 divorced. So, if cant find, dont force.

No, after 10years of marriage, my ears are able to tune out the nagging and it became background noise and I can continue to surf CS.

This is very true. A similar jerk is the guy who peddles Rich Dad Poor Dad books and seminars.

That guy is laughing all the way to the bank. Poor fellows who attend those seminars are poorer paying for it.

Being rich is simple.

You can be Bill Gates but you can never have enough. You can be a poor African kid but you enjoy the smallest wonders in life, and you are content.

Being rich is simple, like I said above, but it's not so easy to be rich in a materialistic society. You have to overcome yourself and your desires.

That said, that doesn't apply the other way, i.e. contentment overcomes everything. At the end of the day if you are so happy with yourself but you are eating nothing, doing nothing, then it's questionable whether you are rich either.

Well, we are all temporary here only. Rich or poor nevermind la. When the time comes, we will all go up there or go down there eventually.

From what I know, up there, there is no such thing as rich or poor. You'll be given a credit card - you can spend as much as you want. Money or gold is worthless up there.

It is definitely not true that you are happy because you are poor.
Maybe some can be poor but happy. But not everyone.
I do not believe Bhutan's Gross National Happiness. Too airy-fairy and a bad excuse for lousy governance and inability to improve their citizens' economic situation.

Fortunately for us, we had the late Dr. Goh K S. Our governance is solidly on the ground and real world. So no rubbish like GNH here in Singapore.

Having money IS important.
You need money to live well. This is the real world.
But you do not need to be obsessed with money and grasping more and more of it endlessly.
Every one wants to be rich.
Some can, Some cannot.

If you are rich, u dont have to worry abt 3 meals daily. Can just flag a cab if you feels tired after work. Buy any camera stuffs without thinking much. Change desktop once there are new model out. There are endless things that you can do once you rich. Best of all, throw the letter into your boss face n shout at them before you quit for a world tour. Ha ha! $ rules!

Never do that.
Always leave on a positive note. Or at least non-confrontational.

To those nasty management i mean. Since last chance, just do it. Wouldnt see them if i go world tour. Other will know the reasons, wouldnt spoilt your image. No $, u will always at the lowest of the pack n got bullied.
