yr camera shld have an option for red eye correction, otherwise use software.

The casue of this is the flash is too close to the lens, using hotshoe flash, most of the time don't have this problem, but Caucasians (lighter eyes) are more prompt to this problem than Asians (darker eyes). that's why flash bracket is very common use in Western countries.

if you using compact camera, built in flash on SLR or DSLR, try to switch to red eye mode, but not 100%.

Hope this help.

i use canon IXUS 65, and i choose the model that delete the red eyes, but the effect is not so good. so i dont know how to do.

Yah, if you're using a SLR with external flash,

(i) get a diffuser (one of those white plastic that fits on top of the flash) to "soften" the flash...and

(ii) rotate your flash to 45 degrees instead of at 90 degrees which is directly facing the subject's eyes

If you're not using SLR.............. errrr............... I can only think of using PHotoshop to correct away the red eye! :sweatsm:

U can try turn on the red eye reduction lamp and ask the person to look into the lamp.....or think I saw somebody on this forum suggest b4, ask the person nt to look slightly left or right of the camera.......but guess nt 100%....u can still use the software to reduce if stil won't wk...:)
