How often do you bring your camera with you?

Almost Everyday = Canon S5 IS
Almost everynight = Canon 350D with 18-55mm IS lens

Seldom = 350D with Tamron 28-75mm F2.8
Photoshoot only = 2nd DSLR with Tokina 50-135mm F2.8

I generally have my Panasonic FS-4 compact camera with me. When it permits, I bring my D70 with my Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8. I'll only bring other lenses and accessories if I have a planned shoot.

My trusty Pns is with me most of the time, DSLR comes out only when needed.

Bring HX5V in shirt pocket outdoor daily just in case there is something important to shoot

Almost all the time, but if I do not have a planned shoot I will just bring my 500D and efs 18-200. One lens cover a wide range of focal length yet compact enough. Sometimes just 500D and my super takumar m42 50 f1.4 which is a very small lens easy to keep.

If planned then I will bring other lens depending on my motive.

You can plan for a shoot but you may not be able to shoot what you planned, so bringing a camera with me wherever is possible is the opt for myself.

Since my one and only digital camera is a DSLR: the compact and light D40, I pair it up with an equally light and compact manual focus 50mm f1.8 prime lens. Camera w/ lens goes into a small Crumpler camera bag that stores my daily stuff. I only pull out the rest of my gear (film camera and other lenses) when I walkabout over the weekend or if I am free.

Camera comes with me everywhere except:

Work - A professional office is not the place for a DSLR, unless your office is Reuters or Straits Times!
Swimming pool - I do not have an underwater housing ... Yet :devil:
Toilet - I am not about to get arrested, plus where to put it while you do your business!

Other than that, my 5DII and 7D are permanently in my bag. I take them with me on my frequent business trips as there is always something great to take photos of.

When I dont feel like taking a big bag, I take my photographers jacket and/or my cotton carrier harness (which I love but always gets strange looks from people).

To all those who think their friends will mock them for carrying round a DSLR everywhere, don't worry. Once they see the pictures you capture of them they will be asking you to bring it along again and again.

too lazy to bring in and out of house. bake in the dry cabi occassionally

i usualy take my DSLR "for a walk" every friday night and weekends and of course vacations, but always put my PnS on my work bag everday just incase
