Bought the CP5700, MB5700 together...then SB50DX..set me back about 2.4K.

Also

12xAA rechargables w/chargers $200
128M and 512M CF = $700
X-drive w/20G Hdd = $450

Was hoping this can last me a few years..but now itchy for DSLR
cuz 5700 damm hard to keep up with children @ play

Talking about "Cheong" EN-EL1

It does not cost u 65 bucks for one.

Anyway, to each his own. I am waiting for DSLR,

this is just temporary, don't want to spend too much on it!!!

thats one problem with the F4.5 at the tele side
quite bad actually

u lose quite abit of shutter speed

espn: your 52mm bernie adaptor is the ring type?

any idea how much does the 49mm version cost?
and where to get it?

Cannot stand the #$%@ shortlived EN-EL1 + expensive 2CR5s liaoz.

Ordered a MB-E5700 from Canada, hope it comes soon! :)

Where where? Give me the site? :D I'm tempted also :D

ebay :)

but they don't ship international, so ask my fren in Canada to buy and ship over.

After exchange rate the price around 200 - 210, around the same as SG's listed price. (too bad can't bargain, but then again, there's no stock here to bargain for  )

So no warranty unless u sent back to canada?
saw this at yahoo, http://page.auctions.shopping.yahoo.com/sg/auction/72898194?aucview=0x23
Plan to buy...

i think it includes shipping, or maybe my friend sponser shipping for me? keke....

what i am not too sure about buying it from canada is whether he needs to pay the 7% GST.

but i told him to buy it for me provided it doesn't hit USD$120.
think he found it.

Think will have to order from US then. Have to look up my friend. Or probably in australia. Hmmm. Expensive hobby.
