:dunno:, any CP5700 user with MB-E5700 can comfirm how many shoot can last with 6 x 2100 battery?

About 400 shots on normal 6 AA batteries.

I'm looking forward to get my hands on it, be it even I have to import one set from overseas.

There's a seller in Buy Sell who's selling CP5700 + MB-E5700, damn interested in buying the set and selling the camera alone off.

Sigh. MB-E5700, why are you avoiding me!!

for me, it ard 300+ shots with a set of fully charged 6x 2100mAh Sanyo batt.

actually, I can't really 'finish' the batt after a whole day shooting session. However, it oso depends on how u use your cam e.g. turning on LCD to view shots, constant review and deleting and oso the temp for the environment. I notice my low batt sign usually appear very quickly when i'm shooting at BG under hot sunlight, but the batt still can last.

Any one know how much is the market price for MB-E5700?

Nikon Listed Price - S$205
AP Quoted a "Out of Stock" price of S$165

The original price is $180. I'm hoping Nikon brings in enough stock for MB-E5700 now, now there's ample stock for CP-E5700 but not enough MB-E5700. Sheesh... whatever is Nikon thinking!

patience is the key.:D

Yeah guess so, been waiting for so long, a while more won't hurt.

Sheesh, hafta survive on the EN-L1 and 2CR5s for the time being.

Yeah, I have been waiting since they first introduce the 5700 and MB-E5700. I am a good witness! I can prove that!

Hehe,

like me lah! just go and buy "cheong" EN-EL1!!!

I got one from fotoguide at 40 bucks...

for the price of one MBE5700. 180, can buy 4 of these batts.

I can't finish using two batts after one day of shooting!!!

http:www.pbase.com/concuss

eh.... let me do the calculation for you:

1 piece of EN-EL1 costs you S$65
3 pieces = S$195 oredi. Enough to buy a batt pack liao.
And hor this batt pack has few advantages:
i) provides more stable grip.
ii) vertical shutter button (not to mention the wide and tele button)
iii) adds the weight of the camera --> more balance and comfortable grip.
iv) uses 6 x AA batteries which can be easily replaced in future.
(EN-EL1 according to some ppl lasts about 2 or 3 years, that is the lifespan, does not depend on how you use it).

i rather that they don't provide charger and battery in the package rather an option to choose the batt pack by topping up:

2x ENEL1 = S$130
1x MH53 charger = S$30
Total around S$160 liao loh. top up S$20 more can get the batt pack liao which can let you shoot until ...... you ;))

Just hope for it to come out soon, cross my fingers and toes.
