How much is a Minolta mount?

in order to fit a TC in my Minolta X-700, i heard that i would need a Minolta mount is it?

so how much is it?

Yes, you would need a TC with the older Minolta MD mount (not the new Dynax mount - dunno what it's called).

oh, i think i've got it wrongly. it's not a adapter or what to fit the TC into the cam right?

is such TC readily available locally?

Minolta MD mount stuff are more or less obsolete now. You can try the second hand stores.

Try Alex Photopgraphy at level 2 of Penisula.

I saw quite a range of MD mount lens. But not intending to get from there. The price is quite high. Ebay has alot of minolta MD mount, I already bid for one already.

i have this camera for 10years already (my fav. till i drop the wide ang. still repairing, camera still in good condition)

Eh...sorry, 7xi is a auto focus model right? X-700 can't use auto focus lens right?

yes , 7xi is an AF model, with adapter u can use MD lens , X700 u cant .
