actually, mac screens are 3rd most accurate in color and the new LCD HD range looks promising. Not to forget SGI leading the LCD race.
I prefer CRT tho..
but on the topic of RAM. It's not just ram management but also virtual disk space management and regular mantainence of the system and a processor to support it.
frankly i'm running a quicksilver series G4 and that has served it's purpose in video and graphic editing fairly well still, I still dont see the need for a scsi system, unless for external peripherals.
