i guess that is this approach that also cos people to pay 1k if they put music on the website. And the price is supposely "competitive"

I guess for individual, charging as high as possible is the correct thing to do, but i doubt that it can be a "standard" that will be share by everyone. As a more likely consumer, I also hope that won't happen

As far as copyright goes, if it is too old, the copyright term would have expired.

I'm actually curious, there are pics of old singapore around, what's their value? Do that keep such photos in Singapore Archive?

archive pics value would be in the historical sense, not monetary.

While it might not be 100% applicapable in Singapore's context, it does give a reference on how we can valuate our works.
