your shots is raw copy one or have done some touchup?
hehe
was curious how the a40 fare with raw copy without any touchup hehe

will getting a UV filter or lens helps in the pics outputs?

I did some touch up. For eg, the edited shot as follow
aac.jpg

To view the unedited "raw" shot, Warning!!! Huge File

Hey guys,
I had just bought a A40 but when I turn it on, realise that the LCD display is blur. Is there any adjustment to correct it or the display is faulty?

Can I check with you all, is 2megapixels enough? That's the only thing that is making me not sure about the A40...can anyone help explain? I heard some pple swear that only 3MP and above is acceptable...:dunno:

it all depends on your needs and wants.
If you intend to take a picture, and just upload a downsized version on the net, use the pictures for your school studies, 2mp is more than enough.
If you intend to take a picture and print it out on a banner (too exaggerating) and stuff like that...

I believe the people who swear that only 3MP and above is acceptable is either:
1. Graphic designers or decorators who will need to print the picture at quite a large size like A3 size, etc.
2. Retards who blabber off on things that they do not know what they are talking about.

Do your homework on what is megapixel, resolution and find out how much megapixel is enough for your needs before deciding on purchasing a digital camera. Economy is already bad. Don't spend unnecessary money.

gee thanks djchris, the money advice is good :)
has anyone printed out photos up to A4 with the A40?
After some thinking, perhaps printing 5-6R is cool too...
I just don't want to be short-changed when I want to blow up pictures
I don't need anything bigger than A4 size...hmm...

hmm the B&W pics not bad
hmm u added the brigthness ah?
to me the pics is not bad
but not sharp only lor
up to now after see those high ends 5MP to 1.2MP one
i would say 3 and above 3MP and above digicam will have better outputs lor

no flaming pls hehe
and i still think SLR's still have better outputs even those low ends one
if compare to Nikon? to pentax to me lor

think is my skill not enuff..
I also find that today's shots not very sharp..
the esplanade's sharper..

maybe because I'm sick..den hands shaking..
