How i spent a thursday morning studio shoot

Personally, I feel, a good photo do not have to be technically perfect. A technically perfect photo might not be a good photo. Sometimes, people tend to place so much emphasis on getting a picture perfect, but forget about what to take in a picture.

Felix, I really like your photos & the model you have chosen. They are indeed different from the usual mei mei shots that I usually see....

Well said

sometimes, people are commenting that the photo is underexposed, have severe vignetting, too much noise.. but let's not forget about the fun and artistic photos toy cameras can offer, before we even mention what Raytoei has to offer here..

technically perfect picture is not everything, how the picture works is the everything..

The model follows the western style of things. She almost looks like a Lady Gaga lookalike.

Nevertheless, those are nice photos, the poses and all. :)

 no wonder you always look so busy behind the monitor screen! :bsmilie:

Did some pre-work at the restaurant.

Identified 4 places in the restaurant where it can work.

One issue is that there is insufficient light hitting on the model face, even though the overall lighting is good.

(any suggestions ? I can think of 3, first one is reflector, second is weak torch light to the face, raise/position the head so that the light hits the face sufficiently)

Something worth thinking about.

Here's the picture of the model, emily.

Interesting to see the other guy (top left) checking the out. I love your studio sets. Very nice model and film output.

the last picture is wow! carefully done.. but i still miss that gritty/grainy look.. It looks a bit too modern for me.. a bit too sharp and clean..
just my one cent.. :)
