You can see some of the Zenitar Fish Eye 16mm at, http://flickr.com/photos/nc_chia/ have to keep an eye on the change of whether, I think this is the case of all manual lens..When first time using the lens, had difficulty, it look white-out - over-exposed .. Aperture and Shutter all have to be in manual mode and match the purpose of the subject. antiflare is been than I had expected, Quite new to SLR, bought Pentax K100D at leat year Comex at Expo. I think Sigma 10 to 20mm, would provide more convenient, though do not own this one. but one of the retailer at Pennisula advice that Sigma lens are not suitable for Singapore Whether ...He told me that every six months, sigma customers used to come back - with the something on the lnes worst than Fungas .. cannot be clean ...So he do not carry Sigma ... How unfornately, do not know how true ..or those customer never used drybox ..if any one can advice it will be good. Thks in the first place ...

It is a very good lens, very sharp and easy to use, can serve as a cheap but excellent super wide angle lens.

Here is a thread I posted about a city walk w/ this lens and a Pentax Ds:

I've replaced it with a Pentax DA10-17mm Fisheye lens, but it's 2 times more than then Zeintar ...

obviously the guy is telling you a load of crap.... if a lens is properly kept ie dry cabinet, it will not grow fungus. However, if you leave the lense outside in the wet it will grow fungus within a couple of weeks, regardless of brand...

It's about 670 SGD I guess. Can't remember for sure.

The Zenitar 16mm FE can be used as a super wide angle lens on our digital SLR camera, instead of a fisheye I think ;)
