But the simple way may not necessarily be the correct or accurate way. Counting is quite an inaccurate way especially since first, it may be inaccurate, second you need to follow something to be exact, third if she wants to replicate 20 seconds again, her count may be off.
In the end, you'll need to teach her how to calibrate the counts to a fixed measured device (like a clock) and in the end, its so called complicated method again.
