From a girl's POV, I think you should test her out first.
Date her out, ask her what is her dream guy type?
Ask her if there's anyone that she's interested in and etc.
Girls usually have strong 6th sense if the guy is interested in them or not.
Lead her on in her replies and if it sounds positive, pop the question.

And as many had said here, do not, ask on MSN or through SMS.
That's the dumbest thing a guy can really do, I think.

true true... and also, somehow when going out with her, if there is something i'm sure u can feel it. i guess that's what others call "chemistry". but its just a general feeling. if you can feel there's something special. there probably is something special. and if the feeling is quite strong, i'm sure your girl is not numb enough to not feel it at all.

im being super kp here, but yeah, if u guys are just hanging out as friends now and u want to bring it a step further, go ahead and do slightly (i emphasize only SLIGHTLY) more couply things.. hugs, more touches, things like that i'm sure u could do. and if the vibes are right go ahead. if u feel her get uncomfortable, back off.

Some back ground to why i never had a relationship till today:


1.) Never found the right girl.

2.) Never found a girl who liked me in return.

3.) Some girls liked me for my talent, hardworking-ness and money.

4.) Parents aren't really keen in me having a relationship now.

5.) Parents want me to study hard, which i'm already doing now. So they don't find the need for me to have a GF.:think:

6.) Can cause quite a bit of a problem if i have a girlfriend. I've to hide the relationship from my parents. Just make sure my dad doesn't catch me. If not jialat.:bsmilie: I can tell my mom about the girl i like, but kinda awkward. :dunno:


Reason why i want her to be my GF, i really like her. She just makes my day when ever i see her. She's going overseas for attachment on the second semester, and i'll be off for attachment as well. Won't be able to see her for about 6 months. That's why i want to ask her before she goes. I'll wait for her till she comes back. At least by then, i hope to have a place in her heart.


I've got quite a bit of plans for my future.

I'm studying hard and will leave for overseas to pursue my further education after NS. Do my masters and get a good certificate with at least 2nd class honors. Though i'm aiming for the 1st class honors.

I've planned out my savings, thought about having my own family. What i need to do, that i can make sure my wife and children would have enough. Thought about all those. Thought about the house i would get. The installments needed to be paid. The layout, the rooms. How much cost would be. Transportation. Making my wife happy. Having little dates with her despite being married.


All those stuff. My childhood was quite short. When you should be playing and having fun, i was thinking about my future and how to make world a better place. I guess it's just me.


I did lose out on somethings, that i hope my children won't lose out on.


I guess, lets see where life takes me to. Haha.

Retail??? Tell you what...check out what time she knocks off work, go meet her @ office/shop/workplace with chocolates (or whatever candy she likes). Can SMS her to prep her first as well (avoid any ugly surprises) bt don't tell her you got gift.
