most of the company hire and fire, perm or temp staff not much different in terms of stability. If future is just enough to makan roti, yes I do see future to survive. If future is enough to makan nasi, maybe still can. if future is to makan jade cystal 2 times a week, cannot think of that.

why worry? because profession not stable, retire money will be locked up a lot in future.

Fully agree.

Have been interviewing people in the past months. Many CVs indicate they were retrenched multiple times. This applies to candidates for different positions, level of experience and performance.

When I first started, my boss assured me it is a perm job and I NEVER need to worry about getting a job again (I left that company anyway after 5 years). This statement certainly does not apply to what I see nowadays.
