Between my legs... :bsmilie:

I carry 2 bodies during my wedding assignments. One over the neck and one over my right shoulder.

mind to share how u DIY R-Strap??

http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY_R_STRAP/

i made one slightly different form the one in the above website, i went to cathay to buy a tripod screw with the thing loop around it and attached a key ring to it. after that i used my old fujitsu strap to clip onto the key ring. works quite well! once you know the basic premise of the rstrap you will realise that the price is really a little steep for something you can make yourself.

i think my explanation is quite unclear though, will try to post photos when my main lappie is up and running again, using my bro's one right now

anyone has custom rstraps to show off?

usually i lock it on my left strap holder (on my cam) and below at my battery grip. so my right hand is free to roam around the buttons, shutter...was thinking to utilise my guitar strap...hahahahaha...

hmmmm... sound easy to me.. i'll try to DIY too... Thanks

I actually hate the 5D Mark II strap with the red lining. Prefer something less conspicuous. Anybody want to change mine with a decent third party :)

I share your sentiments... so I'm using a neoprene martin one instead. don't want to be a walking target.

Inside my sling bag when resting, wrap my neck strap around my right hand and holding holding the hand grip when standby or shooting. Sling the neck strap on my shoulder when standby and moving or changing lens etc etc

Since someone is selling R-Strap in the MO section..... isn't so correct to undercut his/her business by teaching others how to DIY the R-Strap.... sorry

not everyone will DIY even if taught, some just prefer to buy off the shelf solutions.

nope, interesting perspective though. haha

I just do the described "mega-grip" above and use the strap something like a side sling. I seldom sling the camera around my neck.

i do exactly the same , find strap around neck in the way

I trust the integrity of the materials Blackrapid use.

I'm not sure you'd want to trust 2k worth of equipment to hang from a tripod quick release plate's D-ring (which is not designed to withstand loads), and an old Fujitsu strap. Think twice. I'm not saying DIY is bad. Just proceed with caution and weighing the consequences.

well... i still find im comfy with a hand grip. it's like glueing the cam to my palms.
