I own a TLR cameras. As it is an old model, the leather neck strap had softened and snapped off due to humid environment over long period of time.

I got a new camera strap but ii's not compatible to the old strap type. How do I fit a new camera strap to my old TLR camera?

Greatly appreciate for the kind help. Thanks. :)

What TLR is this? Some need special clips in order to fit to the lugs. If your old strap has the clips, then just recycle them. Head to a cobbler(I like Shukey at suntec), they normally are able to sew on straps to the old clips got a small fee.
Alternatively, you could do the restitching yourself..

I'm using Seagull-4A TLR camera and yes, it uses special clips for its neck strap. As the leather material gets wet on my sweaty neck, I feel uncomfortable. Therefore I want to use a more easy-to-use and comfortable strap.

Anyone with any idea how to DIY a pair of stable connectors? :)

This the same model?

I do not really see any clips, it looks like the strap would just thread thru the lugs.
A picture may help.

The one you posted here is one of the new models marketed for overseas. Those models are Seagull 4A-105, 4A-107 and 4A-109. There may be other models on sale. What I was talking about here is the older model, which you can refer to this image here. This guy DIY his TLR with connectors to be used on new camera strap. I wonder if it's durable and stable enuff to walk on the streets without snapping off and drop on the ground.

would the optech strap have a suitable clip? it looks similar to mamiya 645 ones.

think you can use these connector by Optech.

im selling my seldom used Pro A clips, as ive gotten another strap, if anyone's interested:)

May I ask any differences between 'A' & 'B' version? :)

Went to Cathay Photo this afternoon and asked one of the sales personnels, if Super Pro "A" is able to fit in a Seagull TLR. She said, "No it can't. It fits for Mamiya camera only."

Aside to 0200903C, can u kindly verify if this i true? If so I would have to find other alternate solutions. Your kind help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you so much guys for the great help.

well, I guess I'll have to get my original strap clips to ShuKey or whoever can make a nice metallic loop for my new camera strap. Or otherwise I'll sold my old model and get the new one instead. Hahaha...
