nothing about stupidity or not.. just damn pure selfishness and nuisance. u try do that in ebay???

u want to get old postings out and new postings in. unsold item can go recycle, but u go through some hassles to repost it.. and not jumping on top of those newer item everyday for months. if it's such an interesting item to everybody it would have sold long ago.

u go supermart to see if they put interesting news product on the front shelves or recycle the damn lousy old bloody item on their front shelve day after day.

your supermarket analogy is really off the mark. you forget that the whole point about B&S is mainly for the sale of 2nd hand products. including some very old ones.

and due to the volume of new postings, items which may be of interest do get lost quickly to the back pages, unless posters refresh the post.

your comparison to ebay is also pointless. ebay has much better seach and display functionality than B&S.

It's not that bad lah... leave it. It's better then creating multiple threads.

Anyway limiting the frequency of upz is easy to bypass. For example, limiting it to once a week. There will be posters that create 1 thread each day for 7 days, then upping then in cycle. You'll still get your daily dose of "nuisance".
