Hotshoe meter. What are the choices?

Hello family. Noticed another thread about dedicated meter or hotshoe meter being better.

I'm about to get my hands on the zorki 6 and i wanna get a hot shoe meter for it. Is there any other choice besides voigtlander's VCII? Saw the price for it and i can totally just dream of it only. Any other cheaper alternative?

u may take a look at Sekonic L-208 TWINMATE. It can be used as a handheld incident meter also. Last month i paid $100 at Cathay thanks to the promotion, normal price @ Cathay is about ~$130-140.

However, It looks uglier than the VCII when u mount it on the hot shoe.

A cheaper alternative is to post a WTB ad for the VC Meter II

thank you srono. alternative as in, by any other cheaper brands or something. Anyway, is there a big difference in the VC and VC II?

Got a new VC I which I bought from Chiff earlier in the year which I didn't use if you are interested. I think the only difference between VC I & VC II is the "size"-one flatter but longer(VC II) & the other thicker but shorter(VC I).

............. Anyway, is there a big difference in the VC and VC II?

thanks gommy i got your pm. gotta think about it first. not small money for me haha. gonna shoot a roll with my zorki6 and see how far i fail without a meter first hahaha
