THE Sembawang hot spring will be closed to the public for two months beginning March 1, as the Ministry of Defence carries out construction and drainage works in the area.
The hot spring, located along Gambas Avenue, is now seeing large numbers of visitors. Up to 1,000 people visit on weekends. Its popularity has caused litter and drainage problems.
