Really? you going there just to buy the camera? Where are you from? If u are Singaporean.. why not get it here. The saving you get there is not enough to cover your air ticket n lodging n food.

I remembered some where in this post some one has said SG's price on Sirui tripods is lower than HK's. Have no idea myself but I do see quite a lot of Sirui tripods in HK's camera stores.

I was at wing kee and I compared the prices of one Sirui model which I forgot. The price was about the same as in Singapore. Eventually I bought a Benro and saved about S$100+ as compared to getting it in Singapore.

Just check price.com.hk. It lists prices for both local n grey sets.

Does anyone know where is the best place to buy Zeiss ikon lenses in ZM mount? I only know of Tin Cheung and a few established places. But i was wondering about where I can get these at the best prices. The lens in question is the silver Biogon 35mm f2.8.

Today's news in HK - HK customs has raided a shop selling faked Lowepro camera bags. The shop tried to sell the bags as genuine bags at around 10% discount. Address: 旺角 Sai Yeung Choi St, 1A號百寶利商業中心 (shop's name HK Spy 1201).

I am sure there are more shops in HK like this one trying to make a fast buck. HK customs acted on Lowepro's HK authorized dealer's complaint. Last month, a customer went to claim warranty service and the dealer found out the bag was a fake. The bag looks 90% real with only inferior quality zipper and buckles.

I would suggest people interested in getting Lowepro bags from HK go to the reputable camera stores.

Wow!! Really?! Which model u got? Damn headache with getting tripod man. Too many config to choose from and too many make.

I got the A-1681 + B0 head. Work harder with your research in Singapore then shortlist a couple in mind so that when you're there, you can choose, pay and go My intention was to get Sirui there but as Benro in Hong Kong was much cheaper, settled for that instead.

You can buy from echo audio and buy at 4750 or 4800, depending on your negotiating power with mr yip. 2% will be imposed for credit card.

For tokina 11-16 2.8, can also check New Sankyo out. It's 5 minutes walk from Echo. New Sankyo HK | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

3 days before my trip, I called both shops and New Sankyo quoted me a higher price but at the shop itself, New Sankyo requoted me lower. If you have time, you should compare prices at both shops. Eventually I bought a lens from each shop.
