If you can provide me with a model no. I can try to check the price for you next time I visit the camera shops. For Sirui, I think shops in Apliu street will have the lowest price.

N2004 + k10x ballhead
Thanks =D

Do take note of the price difference between local (

) and gray (

) sets.

Hi CS Tan,
Warranty wise, what's the difference of the 2? Im goint o buy Sigma lenses....

N2004 ~HK$950
Don't have K10x, in HK, N2004 normally goes with G20 ball head.

N2204 ~HK$2,780

Quote was from dcfever in Windsor House Causeway Bay.

I thought my research would interest some people about Sirui tripods in China (not sure about HK).

Although made in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China, is actually more expensive in China than in Singapore (gst included). And many models available in Singapore are not yet available in China or HK yet. Like many of the Kx ball heads, or the Tx series tripods. This is based on my price research on Sirui in many camera stores in Shanghai, including Sirui sales office. Apparently many of the newer models are export only for now.

Thanks! I'm surprised. It's actually way cheaper in sg. But, really appreciate the help for checking the price out =)

Grey set means no warrantyat all. Local set should have international warranty of 1 yr for sigma lenses

Does anyone know if Thinktank bags are cheaper in HK vs Singapore?
Thx:)

I followed the HK Shopping Guide and managed to get mine Nikon 35mm f2 for HK$2150 as shown in the guide.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Along the way I was quoted higher prices from other shops.
Just did mine 1st event shoot with this newly purchased lens;), more useable indoor compared to mine 50mm.

Hi all, can someone show me the local warranty card for Sigma bought in Hong Kong? I had search & could not find.

Best regards.

THanks, at price.com TinCheung tag there 24-70 HSM as grey product, but on there email to me, they said that it will have international warranty, which i think is contradicting. What do you think?

Tin Cheung have both international warranty and grey products. Really up to you to say which one you want.

The price reported in price.com is mostly from buyers' experience so in order to distinguish between local and gray sets, they have this little circle stating whether the set is a local set
hong_16.gif
or gray
water_16.gif
set, as daredevil123 mentioned, Tin Cheung sells both local and gray sets so you need to be specific when asking for price quotes from them.

I found a copy of Sigma HK warranty card. Does it look like this?

SigmaHKWarrantyCard.jpg

I was told my Sigma HK both gray and local set will also have the warranty card. To distinguish between local and gray sets, the key is that the local set have the laser label added by Sigma HK.

Hi CS Tan,
it is a wonderful thread. Gonna be there at the end of the year, will stores close on those days? Also I hear somewhere that tokina set HK warranty is not applicable to Tokina Singapore. Is it true?

If this is the case, then both will be honored by Sigma? as they both have warranty cards.

Have not experience claiming warranty service with Sigma SG so someone needs to tell us how Sigma SG will handle lenses that were bought outside of SG.
