get lc-a lah..lc-a so much better. ;p and with the coloursplash flash for the lc-a..can have more colours!

i shoot in B/W =P haha how much is the miolta himatic gg for? i need a samll compact raangefinder like XA as my yashica 35gsn is too heavy to carry ard. a canon canonet is not too bad either.

Just curious, are there any distinct differences between photos taken by the Holga and the Lomo LC-A (besides the fact that the Holga uses 120), eg. vignetting, light leaks etc.?

the colours produced from the lca is much nicer. :) yup, vignetting occurs in the lca as well as the holga. no light leaks from the lca.

some pix i took over the weekend to share. :)

Sigh, feel like getting an LC-A but its way too expensive. I think I'll be settling on a Holga. Btw any major differences between the Holga 120GN (glass lens) and the 120N (plastic)? The N denotes new right? So any major differences between the 120 and the 120N?

the N stands for Night. the glass lens is sharper but i dont really see the diff.. haha

Nice photos as usual! Love the red on the wheel, nice contrast with the grass. And the expression of the kids are just fantastic.

hey guys... after looking tru all these photos, i'm really inspired, so i decided to go buy a Holga, hehe but that's where i ran into some trouble.

First, can some one tell me the difference between the 120CFFN and the 120GCFN? or should i just buy the 120S(the one with out flash)

Second, i read that if i wanna shoot 35mm film, i gotta do some really really extreme stuff to mod the camera and all, even taking out the finished roll seems a chore, So my qns, is it really that trouble some? (so i should just stick to 120 film?)

Third, to achieve the wonderful colors of a Holga, is the filter set more important, or the color splash flash?(or just X-Process it)

whew.... i think that about covers it... thanks in advance to all who reply. Thanks!

well im gonna be a bitch and say this.. 'pls do a search in the forum. this has been discussed many times' whahahhaha

1) holga cfn. the cfn stands for colour flash night. which means it has the colour flash and the night/bulb mode.
holga gcfn. its the same like the cfn but the lens is made of glass.
holga woca 120s. dosent have night/bulb mode. flash. but still can produce the same results.

2) to me its troublesome.. thats why i shoot on 120. but u can ask stnicolas abt 35mm on holga. he does it..

3) the 3 things are equally the same. usually what i do is shoot using 120 slides and cross process the slide in c41. its all a matter of luck and good composition.. shoot from your hip!. haha and enjoy holgagraphy. hahaha

Btw, Bum, do you mount your slides? Is it easier for them to scan the slides when its mounted or not mounted? And where do you get yours done? Thanks. And congrats on winning Lomo Green Space thingy!

anyway where to get those films?

What kind? The Holga uses 120 film, the LC-A 35mm. If you're talking about the whacky colours its because they cross processed it. Eg. developing slides in chemicals used for normal negatives and vice versa.

hey.. btw i just usually ask them to mount my slides and also burn the slides into a cd. but if im cross processing it.. i dont. theres no point cause u cant see the pics like normal slides.. haha so i just send in for DO and scan.. well the price they charge me i think is diff.. so havta ask them.. haha. i get them done over at KT in chinatown.. ahh yeah thanks for the congrats.. :):)
