Late in the game as a fellow hobbyist (photography), so learning the ropes as I continue to observe and explore.

Some of my older APADs
2012, 2013 ... Miss out 2014, and back now with a 2015.

Committed to keeping this updated as much as possible. Shots may not be taken on the day itself.

Payphones are virtually non existent in America anymore. At least where I am. In fact I have not seen one in probably 10 years until I just saw your snap. You can still see a few places where they used to be but the phones are long gone.

I am surprised too at its usage in this part of town. It may be that its due to the influx of foreign workers, and some of them still relies on the pay phones ... The image was a little about that as well, the shadows of people who used to be using these phones, and now of a foregone era.

IMHO it's an interesting shot due to the subject and mood, and the inclusion of shadows really adds to it :)

I like 02, 05 and 07. :)
And nice shot of fullerton from a more uncommon angle. Had been trying to find another uncommon angle without much result.

Thanks for your comments. Pretty straight on actually, but I saw the light at the top, and the glitter of the water leading towards the Hotel Facade. So I stop and took a deliberate shot with that in mind.

Indeed a straight forward shot, though I was always trying from the bridge with a side landscape shot, it somehow just never cross my mind to walk across to the other bank and do a portrait shot with branches as foreground, and to include more of the river. :embrass:
Nevertheless, good to learn new way of seeing. Still more to learn and pick up. Thanks. :)
