Anyone has any idea where is the oldest lift in Singapore, publicly accessible?
New 7th Storey definitely is not the oldest (built 1950s). The old Cathay Building (1939) definitely had lifts, but it had been demolished.
Reading online, I know Supreme Court had old cage lifts, but not accessible to public. The oldest lift I know of is inside Yue Hwa Building, from 1936 (button operated). Then I remembered this:

Before renovation, this was a grey, old building. From the architecture style it looks like its from the 1930s. 5 storeys. Anyone knows if this had old lifts?
